A Beautiful Mind is a biographical film
based on the life of John Nash, a Nobel Laureate in Economics. It was inspired
by a bestselling, Pulitzer Prize nominated 1998 book of the same name by Sylvia
Nasar.
The
film is set in the early year of a young prodigy named John Nash. In 1947, he
arrives at Princeton University as the recipient of the prestigious Carnegie
Scholarship for Mathematics.
